In the late 60's early 70's my family lived in Oahu, Hawaii. We used to get these wonderful Portuguese buns at the small shopping center in Eva Beach called (please forgive the spelling) hot malisades. They were yeasted buns that were deep fried then rolled in sugar. Should anyone have this recipe, I'd appreciate your sharing it with me. joni
