Now I'm strictly a bread machine user, BUT...

My husband owns a small appliance repair shop and has found that newer
models aren't always made like they used to be.  ie.  just because you have
a 25yr old Kenwood, KA, Sunbeam, etca. doesn't mean that the new one will
last as long or be as efficient. You need to talk to someone who has a NEW
model. New products come with plastic gears, etc. that tend to break. Some
are good, so you must do more research on the newer ones.
