NOTES : Dried cherries add a sweet-tart flavor to these waffles. To
enhance the cherry flavor, use the water from soaking the cherries as
part of the liquid in the recipe. (You should have about 1/2 cup.)
For a decadent touch, top the waffles with sweetened vanilla yogurt
or whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
