Larry, Re: Your bread density not being as you'd like it: Try adjusting the baking temperature so that the bread bakes for a shorter time at a higher temperature or longer time at a lower temperature. My guess is that the second combination will work for you. Also keep in mind that the black bakeware will probably require lower temperature settings.
