But all bread machines don't add the liquids first....I have a Welbilt, and
you put the dry yeast in the bottom, then all the flour, etc. and put the
water on top.......check which one works best...
I have found that there are two things you can do to the hard crust...I
have put the still warm bread in an open plastic bag down over it and allow
the steam to soften the crust....the other is to spray the top immediately
with either a butter-flavored pan spray or with a margarine spray....both
work well.
