I have a Toastmaster also, and you can get a replacement paddle for about
$5.00 if yours is too sticky or scratched.  Until you get it (if you decide to
do that), take a plastic orange peeler (like Tupperware makes) or a chopstick.
Both of these items fit nicely inside the hole of the paddle.  It also helps
if you spray the paddle and the bottom of your pan before you add your
ingredients.  Good luck!
