Hi All, I am new to this list. I have started the Flemish Desem Bread recipe from Laurel's Kitchen, bread book. My starter smells delicious, and looks like brown cottage cheese, as the recipe says. My product is very dense, tastes good, but is really too dense. I started it 2 1/2 weeks ago, and have baked twice. I thought that my second baking would be lighter. Has anyone tried this recipe? Does any one have any suggestions? Thanks, Lisa
