Dear Bruce and the rest of the list:

My KitchenAid mixer, model K45SS, 250 watts, says, on the side of the
mixer, to the left of the on/off/speed control:

KITCHENAID DIV.
HOBART
CORPORATION
TROY, OHIO

This includes the Hobart Logo.

If yours says something else, my guess is that it is made by Whirlpool.
