To avoid the problem of having major damage in the bottom of your machine-baked loaf, simply take out the dough at the beginning of the final rise, remove the kneading blade(s), and replace the dough into the machine. The finished loaf will then have only a small hole in the bottom, and will release from the pan without mishap. Set a timer, if needed, to remind you when to take out the dough. Happy baking, Carolyn
