To answer Jade's question about storing yeast in the freezer....I'm now using the last of my 2 lb. bags of yeast that I purchased in 1995. It was vaccuum packed until opened, but then stored in the freezer....it's just as active as if I had just purchased it....Does that answer your question? Evie Werthmann
