I always make my pasta in my Panasonic bread machine, although I haven't made whole grain. Normally I use 300gms of flour to 3 eggs and set the machine for the short cycle for about 4 or 5 minutes or until the flour and eggs are combined. It works much better than a mixer, you can add spinach, tomato etc. too. Then it can be rolled out or put through a pasta machine. Regards, Avril Fells
