I agree completely with Ed Okie's comments about baking in an oven from a 
cold start. And have been using it successfully for the last year, here in 
NJ. Also if you bake with the ceramic baking pots you have to start from a 
cold oven or your pot will break into pieces when it hits the hot oven.
