I made pumpkin bread with splenda and it was horribly sweet! You are
suppose to be able to substitute cup for cup. I contacted the company and
they were most helpful. They suggested maybe cutting back a little.."to
taste". They also sent me an $8.00 check, thinking that I would never use
it again. My husband is a diabetic, so we are experimenting with the
splenda. I have cut back a little, but it is still way too sweet and
leaves an aftertaste that is hard to get rid of. Hope this helps.
