Hello Jack Itried the recipe last week without the figs. One bread I baked at once, the second one proofed about 12 h in the refrigerator. Both breads were delicious, but he flavour of the second one was infinitely better. So if you want to use the bread machine, you should do the proof in the refrigerator.
