Hi everyone, I've made Alton Brown's recipe several times http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_23595,00.html It has great nooks and crannies...but the flavor isn't spectacular. Also, you might want to toss them in the oven for a bit after stovetop cooking to ensure the middles are cooked. There's also a recipe in Peter Reinhart's "Bread Baker's Apprentice," but I haven't tried it yet. Allen
