I ended up buying King Arthur's starter and it arrived a couple days
ago. In the morning I will be baking Mike Avery's Blueberry Sourdough
Muffins. Then I will be converting a portion of the sourdough starter
to whole wheat. Boy, the house smells wonderfully like sourdough!

I didn't wait just 10 hours, I waited something like 4 days by the
time it went in the garbage. I followed the instructions and didn't
get a single bubble.
