Despite the tease, "While I am not willing to part with all of my secrets for an authentic German Christstollen", which I chose to ignore, I made two batches of the German Christmas Stollen recipe that was given a couple of weeks ago. Both batches were excellent and made nice gifts for friends and neighbors - and myself. I heartily recommend the recipe as submitted. It's good enough without the "secrets", so thank you to the person who gave it. Ellen
