                               Brown Rice Bread

       1/3           cup  brown rice
       2/3           cup  water
    1 1/2    tablespoons  olive oil
                          warm water
    3               cups  bread flour
    2        tablespoons  white sugar
    1           teaspoon  salt
    1 1/2      teaspoons  active dry yeast

In a saucepan bring water to a boil. Add rice and stir. Reduce heat, 
cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

Place 1/2 cup of cooked rice in a two cup measuring cup. Add oil and 
enough warm water to equal 1 1/2 cups. Add this mixture to pan of 
bread machine. Add flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Select cycle; press Start.

Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order 
recommended by the manufacturer. Select lightest setting; press Start.

Serves  12
