found this site
and followed the directions and have a 5 day old starter bubbling
away in my kitchen, as we speak! I did use Rye flour and bottled
water, because I figured that with all my failed attempts, this would
be my best bet. I hope this helps. I am, by no means, an
expert. Like I said, my starter is only 5 days old. But, it's thick
and bubbly!
