I haven't found any recipe software I like, either. I'll be watching 
for what you guys have to say. I love the gmail solution!  Another 
option for portability is something like Dropbox. I've been either 
printing recipes to pdf files with Cute pdf or saving them as text 
files and keeping them in a recipe folder on my Dropbox account for 
easy mobile access.
