i created this fabulous tasting bread & would like to share it with
this group only
*[not to be reprinted or used elsewhere without permission]*
i call it:
*Buck whole wheat bread*
3 cups water
1 1/2 t yeast
1 C whole wheat
1 C buckwheat
4 t kosher salt
1/4 C flax seeds
1 T olive oil
2 T dry milk powder
+\- 3 to 4 C bread flour
1 t yeast
1/2 C grits for the pan
Mix well.
Add the last 1 t yeast by sprinkling on the flattened out dough after
first rise.
Shape to log & allow to rise to double, on a baking sheet sprinkled with grits.
Bake 460F 20 min
Then reduce to 400F 30 min, until done.
