2 teaspoons active dry yeast -- (1 1/4C)
3 cups bread flour -- (2C)
3 tablespoons wheat germ -- (2T)
3 tablespoons powdered milk -- (2T)
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar -- (1t)
1 1/2 teaspoons salt -- (1/2t)
3/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg -- (1T)
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil -- (1T)
1 cup mashed ripe banana -- plus
2 tablespoons mashed ripe bananas -- (3/4C)
3/4 cup sour cream -- or plain yogurt, (1/2C)
1/4 cup water -- plus, (1/4C)
1 tablespoon water
3/4 cup raisins -- or chopped nuts, optional, (1/2C)
Add yeast, bread flour, wheat germ, powdered milk, sugar, salt,
nutmeg, vegetable oil, bananas, sour cream or yogurt, and water in
the order suggested by your bread machine manual and process on the
basic bread cycle according to the manufacturer's directions.
At the beeper (or at the end of the first kneading in the Panasonic
or National), add the raisins or nuts.
