Onion Batter Bread

Delicious onion flavored no knead casserole bread which our family 
has enjoyed over the years

2 pkts active dry yeast
2 cups warm tap water
2 Tbs sugar
3 Tbs melted butter or olive oil
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
4 1/2 cups all purpose flour

Dissolve yeast with water and sugar
Add melted butter or oil, soup mix, and flour
Beat 2 minutes with electric mixer
Let rise in a covered bowl in a warm place until doubled in size, 
about 30 minutes
Stir down dough and place in a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish
Let rise double again covered in a warm place
Bake in a preheated 375F oven about 50 minutes or tested done
Cool 10 minutes and carefully remove loaf to cool completely on cooling rack
