-------- ------------ --------------------------------
2 tablespoons active dry yeast
2 1/2 cups warm water -- 110 to 115 degrees F
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup honey
2 eggs
1 tablespoon salt
8 cups flour -- up to 9 cups total
In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add the water, melted
butter, honey, eggs, salt and 4 cups flour. Beat with a mixer set at
low speed for about 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed for 3
minutes. Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Turn out
onto a floured surface and knead until smooth, about 8
minutes. Round-up dough and place in a greased bowl. Cover with
plastic wrap and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour. Punch dough
down and divide dough into thirds. Place dough in greased 8-inch loaf
pans. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes. Bake at 375
degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 3 loaves.
