Bread-Bakers v006.n053.10

Hi all:
I am making much bread (loaves, challah, whatever) for someone else, and we
want to get a nice shine on top -- but without the eggs.  I am not even
sure I want to use the egg beaters I see in the freezer.  Any suggestions?
