I too am a penny-pincher (but pound foolish) person and live about 50
minutes north of KA. Of course their prices need to be higher to help
support the wonderful services and catalogs they provide. I tell myself
that every time I go in to the recently renovated , reorganized and
enlarged facility now selling absolutely incredible bread.
Not much is "free" in this world and so we should be grateful to those at
KA (no I am not on their payroll...only a customer and a baker) and try to
support their able assistance.
