Have a look at both the Bosch line of mixers and the Magic Mill made 
by Electrolux.

I've used the Bosch Concept and I own a Magic Mill...they are both 
excellent, much more efficient than my older Kitchen Aid made by 
Hobart.  When it comes to bread-making, the Kitchen Aid is a toy (IMHO).
