Garlic or French Bread

Has anyone had sucess with either of these two breads?  My french always
comes out crumbly and with real big(up to 1/4") holes in the texture.  I'm
new to the bread machine world, and have a Regal Kitchen Pro, and most
other breads come out fine, 'cept for the French and Garlic.  The same type
of thing happens with the Whole wheat.
