A friend of mine was talking to me about an ester bread.  I hope someone
could post the recipes.  here's her description of the bread

I'm looking for an Easter bread recipe.  When I lived in Rhode Island, our
land-lord made this bread--sort of sweet, in the shape of a figure 8.  In the
wholes of the 8--were a hard boiled egg--painted.
