In answer to all those queries about freezing bread ..... It's not always recommended, but I always slice my bread before freezing it in double plastic bread bags (from KA Flour catalogue). There are only two of us, and I find it much more convenient to take out just a few slices at a time rather than defrosting a whole loaf & then either re-freezing it (not a good idea!), or having half of it get stale!
