Air space in Cinnamon Swirl Bread

In answer to Joni Repasch's question about the space in the top of a loaf of
Cinnamon Swirl bread, try poking a few slits in the top with a small knife
just before putting it in the oven.  I make a cheese filled bread and had the
same problem....the slits worked for that.   Evie Werthmann
