Since I live in Phoenix, I was anxious to try the cold oven method. I have a regular electric oven and bake French type bread at 450 degrees. The cold oven method, misting once before turning on the oven, worked great! The bread was as good if not better than when I have preheated and used a baking stone or steamer pan. Our lives are busy enough so the K.I.S.S. method makes sense. Thanks for your contribution! Nancy
