Hi,
I am a long time reader of the list, and want to thank all of you for your 
help and support to each other - and me.

In response to Margaret Cope's comment that refurbished Kitchen Aid 
machines are available in a kitchen store in New Hampshire, I just wanted 
to mention that refurbished machines are also available on-line directly 
from Kitchen Aid.  I bought a 6-qt refurbished machine that anyone would 
swear was brand new, and has been humming along regularly for almost 3 years.
