Hi Betty, Unless your bread machine has a specific sourdough setting, it's unlikely that it's possible to make sourdough in your machine. Sourdough breads use little or no yeast. Instead, they rely on the natural yeast in the starter (one of the ingredients). This yeast works much more slowly than commercial yeast. Sourdoughs often proof for 4+ hours. The regular bread making cycle of most machines does not allow for this. Allen
