I wanted to give a shout-out to Marcy Goldman for her incredible Montreal bagel recipe from "A Treasury of Jewish Holiday Baking". I was going to a brunch today and thought I'd give it a go. They were a huge hit. None of us, including me, had ever had a homemade bagel before. And the taste was really very close to what I've had in Montreal. For some reason, mine seem to come out a little bigger than what I remember. Thanks so much. -Adam
