I always say that I enjoy cooking because it's just like Chem lab except
that you get to eat the results of the experiments.
I actually have read a couple of books on food science. I think cooking can
tie in well with many occupations - for scientists cooking is an experimental
science, for artists food is just another medium for creating artworks.
Engineers probably will actually follow the directions 8-).
