Hello all, nice to be back.  Anywho, as to the rye krisp, rye tack, hard 
tack, or whatever kinda tack you want to call it.  Anyone who wants to know 
anything about Scandinavian baking needs to read Beatrice 
Ojakangas.  http://beatrice-ojakangas.com/cookbooks.htm  She is the 
authority on all things Scandinavian.  Her books are great.  I have no 
doubt she has a great recipe for hard tack.
