I was waiting for my doctor in an examination room with little to choose in reading material and I picked up a Martha Stewart Living Magazine, circa September 2003. In it was a recipe for what turned out to be a very tasty bread with lots of fiber. Perhaps the best flavored bread which I have ever made. It uses steel-cut oats, bulgur wheat, whole-wheat flour, all-purpose flour and rolled oats, together with salt, honey, water and yeast!
