I've never heard of a hand mixer with dough hooks, nor have I seen 
any large hand mixers that would mix bread doughs.  They aren't meant 
to handle anything but doughs with a batter consistency.  I don't 
think you could hold the hand mixer steady enough for it to do any 
good.  Even the biggest home Kitchen Aid mixers won't stand up to 
mixing dense doughs. My spiral mixer which is built to handle 5 kg of 
dough has a heavy duty motor and a large dough hook.
