Bread-Bakers v100.n004.5 |

I am in the process of setting up my summer kitchen which will include an old fashioned wood burning cook stove. Even though my main reason for having one (besides heat) is to bake bread, I have never used one and I have no clue how to figure out how much wood to put in, how long to wait for it to heat and how to maintain that heat once I put my bread in. I realize that much depends on the type of wood being burned, but any suggestions on how to begin will be appreciated.
