I thought Barbara's post was interesting because I tried to make batter
bread using a clay pot, and while it rose nicely, the bread flattened out
during baking and came out to dry and crumbly. I wasn't impressed but would
like to give it another try. Any suggestions from the seasoned veterans
out there?
