                      Bread Machine Fruity Bran Bread

                         1 1/2 lb: -- (2 lb):
   2 1/2           cups  all-purpose flour -- (3C)
      3/4           cup  bran -- Note, (1C)
      1/2           cup  water -- (3/4C)
      3/4           cup  milk -- (3/4C)
   1 1/2      teaspoons  salt -- (1 1/2 tsp)
   2        tablespoons  brown sugar -- (2 1/2 T)
   1 1/2    tablespoons  butter -- (2 T)
      1/3           cup  raisins -- (1/2C)
      1/3           cup  pecans -- or walnuts (1/2C)
   1 1/2    tablespoons  chopped dates -- (2 T)
   2          teaspoons  rapid rise yeast -- (2 1/2 twsp)

Note: you can use crushed bran flakes instead of bran.

A high fiber tasty loaf of bread.

Do not use the delay setting on this loaf of bread.

Load the baking pan of your bread machine. Bake on the regular 
setting. After the machine has competed baking the bread carefully 
remove the baking pan as it will be very hot. Remove the bread from 
the baking pan and pull out the paddle from the loaf of bread. Set 
the loaf on a wire rack until it has cooled completely.
